This Privacy Policy explains how FloorDesign.ai (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit or use floorplangenerator.io and its floor-plan generation tools (the “Service”).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through the Service, including when you enter floor-plan requirements, generate a plan, export a result, contact us, or otherwise interact with the website. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy notices.

We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal information or information that is unrelated to planning a space. Please do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in an optional planning description unless it is necessary for your own use of the Service.
Because FloorDesign.ai may provide related products and support services, we may also process name and email address, account credentials, account settings, project details, support communications, and payment-related information where you create an account, purchase credits or paid services, contact us, or use a feature that requires them. Payment cards are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not state that we store complete payment-card details.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the floor-plan generation and export features;
- process your planning inputs and return the requested Output;
- maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- understand how visitors use the Service and improve reliability, usability, and performance;
- respond to support questions and other communications; and
- personalize your experience and improve our models, features, and platform;
- comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, and FloorDesign.ai.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the Service you request, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, with your consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies to keep the Service functioning, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies or browser storage, parts of the Service may not work as intended.
Our current public privacy notice does not identify a specific analytics provider or publish a separate cookie inventory. We will update this Policy if we deploy a material non-essential analytics, advertising, or tracking provider. Our current public privacy notice does not identify specific generation API providers, hosting/CDN providers, storage providers, analytics providers, email providers, or support providers. We use service providers that assist our operations under confidentiality and security obligations, and will update this Policy where a provider disclosure is required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. Retention depends on the type of data, why it was collected, and our legal obligations.
Account information is retained while your account remains active. Design projects and generated outputs are stored according to your account settings. Usage logs are typically retained for 12 months. Support communications are generally retained for 3 years for quality assurance. Where data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it in accordance with our operational and legal requirements.
7. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, including countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws of your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Policy.
