Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of floorplangenerator.io and its floor-plan generation tools (the “Service”). The Service is operated by FloorDesign.ai (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
Floor Plan Generator provides browser-based tools that turn the requirements you submit—such as space type, room counts, approximate dimensions, layout preferences, and a planning description—into concept 2D or 3D floor plans. The Service may allow you to export generated plans in PNG, DXF, or other formats made available in the Service.
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available continuously, error-free, or for any particular period.
3. Eligibility and Responsible Use
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age at which you may lawfully consent to online services, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for your use of the Service and for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate enough for your intended planning purpose.
4. Your Inputs and Generated Plans
Your inputs
You retain your rights in the information and text you submit to the Service (“Inputs”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your Inputs solely to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Generated output
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use the floor plans generated from your Inputs (“Outputs”) for lawful personal, commercial, professional, presentation, and planning purposes. Outputs may not be unique, and other users may receive similar results. We do not represent or warrant that any Output is available for exclusive use or is free from third-party rights.
Your responsibility
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and lawful grounds needed to submit Inputs and use Outputs. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before relying on, sharing, exporting, publishing, or implementing them.
5. Concept Plans Only — No Construction, Engineering, or Professional Advice
The Service produces concept visuals for early planning and communication. Outputs are not architectural, engineering, structural, electrical, mechanical, legal, safety, code-compliance, or construction documents. They are not a substitute for review by qualified architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors, or other licensed professionals.
You must independently verify dimensions, site conditions, structural requirements, accessibility, utility systems, permits, zoning, building codes, and all applicable local requirements before construction, renovation, purchase, or any other real-world use. Do not use an Output as the sole basis for a safety-critical, construction, permitting, or regulatory decision.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not, and must not help others to:
- use the Service in violation of applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
- submit content you do not own or lack permission to use;
- submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, or harmful material;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass the security or technical limits of the Service;
- use bots, scrapers, scripts, or other automated means to access the Service except where we expressly permit them;
- reverse engineer, decompile, copy, frame, mirror, or create derivative works from the Service or its underlying technology, except where applicable law does not allow a restriction;
- resell, lease, sublicense, or provide access to the Service as a service bureau without our written permission; or
- misrepresent an Output as a certified, approved, or professionally prepared construction document when it is not.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, interface, branding, templates, content, and technology, is owned by or licensed to FloorDesign.ai and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
You may not remove proprietary notices or use our name, logo, or trademarks in a manner that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our prior written consent.
8. Feedback
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not identify you as the source without your consent.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, hosting providers, analytics tools, export tools, or websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that third party’s terms and privacy policy.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
We do not warrant that generated plans will be accurate, complete, usable for a particular project, suitable for construction, code-compliant, or free of defects.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOORDESIGN.AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR CONSTRUCTION OR PROJECT COSTS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR OUTPUTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Floor Plan Generator and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and personnel from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Inputs, your use of Outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of a third party’s rights.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or misused the Service. We may also remove or restrict access to Inputs or Outputs where reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce these Terms, or protect users, the Service, or third parties.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing-law provisions—will survive termination.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will use reasonable efforts to provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms means that you accept them.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve a dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party will bear its own costs and attorney fees, unless applicable law provides otherwise. To the extent a claim is not subject to arbitration, it must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, claims must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
